Along the bigger roads in Uganda, there are small stalls selling vegetables and fruits fresh from the field. Florence runs one of these stalls. Mostly, she sells things from her own garden but she also buys some things from other farmers in order to offer a bigger variety of products.

Florence has been in business for two years. In addition to the road stall, she does some tailoring to increase her income.

Loan purpose

Florence wants to sell more of matooke (special bananas for cooking), a crop she doesn´t grow herself. She instead buys from others but since she needs to pay on beforehand, she needs a loan to buy a bigger stock.
